Tai Chi Caledonia 2008
30 07 08 - 21:29 The 13th Tai Chi Caledonia - July 2008It was a joy and pleasure to see many old friends and get to know others a little better. Aside from the quality teaching the social aspect of Caledonia is important to everyone and fortunately with our instructors, staff and students healthy, open dialogue was the order of the day. Long-term Caledonia devotees continued to spread a healthy doze of social grease and our new visitors, particularly those from Italy and Croatia - (numbering 14 in total) soon established deeper relations over a few beverages in the wee small hours. (the 2.30am impromtu pasta dish was well received and, I'm sure, played a considerable part in enabling the early morning qigong-ers to do their thing.
One of the main highlights was the high-class performances on the esplanade of the Stirling Castle offering a stunning backdrop to stunning displays.
Wee Wang - an indoubtable master calligrapher, provided much amusement with his gradual absorbtion of the less polite aspects of Scottish culture!
For anyone who hasn't yet visited our confernce in Stirling, Scotland, have a look around our website, Tai Chi Caledonia visit the photo-gallery etc. and you will see that we host one of the best multi-style tai chi and internal arts events in Europe!
